Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 July 2026

This policy explains what data Warike collects when you visit this website, why, and the rights you have under the GDPR. This is a marketing website: it has no accounts and no login, and it asks for personal data only if you choose to contact us.

Who is responsible

The data controller for this website is Warike UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Frobenstraße 10, 10783 Berlin, Germany. Full company details are in our Impressum. Use the contact link at the end of this page to reach us about your data.

What we collect and why

Analytics, only with your consent. If you allow analytics in the cookie banner, we load a privacy-focused, aggregate analytics tool to understand traffic (pages viewed, referrers, approximate region, device type). It does not track you across other sites and does not build an advertising profile. If you decline, no analytics loads at all. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Anything you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive your address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR).

Standard server logs. Our hosting provider processes basic request metadata (IP address, user agent) transiently to serve the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use these logs to identify you.

Cookies and local storage

We store your cookie choice in your browser so we do not ask on every page. This is strictly necessary and is not shared with anyone.

We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The analytics we use is cookieless; we still gate it behind your consent, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the "Manage cookie preferences" link at the bottom of this page.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

We rely on service providers to run the site (hosting, content delivery, and the analytics tool if you allow it). They act as our processors, under their own terms and only to provide their service. Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, it is done under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your GDPR rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For us that is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

Because we hold almost no personal data, exercising these rights usually just means any email correspondence with us. Use the contact link below to ask.

Data retention

We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up. Aggregate analytics is retained by the analytics provider under its own retention policy and is not linked to you.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest version; material changes will be noted here.
